JumpStart Wireless was founded in 2000 by Dr. Jeffrey Bonar. Bonar earned his PhD in Artificial Intelligence and spent his academic career developing software systems for non-technical people. He founded and ran two software companies prior to JumpStart. As an experienced entrepreneur, he recognized the market opportunity inherent in delivering mass-market wireless business software – a productivity breakthrough for an increasingly mobile and dispersed work force.

JumpStart’s veteran management team draws on professional experience at Verizon, IBM, American Express, and Overture as well as a number of start-up companies. JumpStart’s products serve customers all across North America and in Europe. The company has developed channel partnerships with Sage Software, Primavera, SAP, Maximo, Sprint, Nextel, Verizon Wireless, IBM, RIM, Motorola and Intuit. The company is headquartered in Delray Beach, Florida.
