Overview
JumpStart Wireless automates your field staff's paperwork including: work orders, time cards, daily reports, punch lists, inspections, sales orders, etc. JumpStart sends these electronic “forms” to mobile staff on their cell phones and PDAs. Information entered on mobile devices by your field staff is automatically and wirelessly delivered back to billing and accounting software at your office. Such information includes work completed, hours to be billed, parts used, tasks completed, problem summaries, completion check lists, etc.

A variety of BusinessSuite features ensure reliable and secure operation in the face of interrupted communication, damaged devices, and loss of battery power. The BusinessSuite Server continuously monitors and updates devices enforcing user privileges and correcting for corrupted data or lost connections. Behind the scenes there are constant checks to ensure that there is never data loss or unauthorized operations. Management is able to monitor what is happening in the field instantaneously and continuously.

For most customers, end-user training takes less than 30 minutes. Every component of BusinessSuite is easy to use – from its web-based work management screens to its seamless integration with existing back-end systems. For your field staff completing work couldn’t be easier. Each task is broken down into a series of simple steps, start and stop times are automatically filled, default values are automatically selected, and so on. Part numbers and expenses can be picked off a list, keyed into the device or scanned in from barcodes—whichever makes the best sense for your business. Wherever possible, JumpStart avoids the need to key in text.
BusinessSuite continues to work even when field staff are outside the mobile phone coverage area. Mobile workers continue to input data on their device and when they return to coverage that data is automatically transmitted and synchronized with office-based information. The JumpStart application uses programmable phones and wireless PDAs, allowing data to be stored on the device and tasks completed even in basements and other areas outside of coverage.
