GPS enabled wireless devices permit precise tracking of your field staff’s location, including travel route with maps and breadcrumb trails. Manage your workstaff and allocate your resources optimally. BusinessSuite goes beyond GPS-only systems by adding integrated work order status, time cards and other business forms to the location tracking data.
With GPS enabled wireless devices, a map with the location and travel route
of your staff is displayed for operational managers on the internet. Using
geo-location information, JumpStart applications can monitor employee movement,
view all employee locations in relation to each other, and route the most
appropriate staff to the next assignment.

Every component of BusinessSuite is easy to use – from its web-based
work order forms to its seamless integration with existing back-end systems.
For your field staff, completing work couldn’t be easier: e.g., start
and stop times are automatically filled in for projects. Part numbers and
expenses can be picked off a list, keyed into the deviceor scanned in from
barcodes—whichever makes the best sense for your business application.
One of the fundamental design principles of every JumpStart product is “ease
of use” both for the user in the field and the office staff who enter
data and prepare invoices. Wherever possible, JumpStart avoids the need to
key in text. A good indication of the product’s “ease of use” is
the minimum amount of time required to train an end user. For most customers,
end-user training takes less than 30 minutes.
Using BusinessSuite eliminates the need for paper in the field. Enter the data once from the field and it is ready for invoicing back at the office (or out in the field if using a portable printer). No more illegible notes that are difficult to decipher, or mountains of paperwork waiting to be entered into the system back at the office.
BusinessSuite continues to work even when field staff are outside the mobile phone coverage area. Mobile workers can continue to input data on their device -- when they return to coverage data is automatically transmitted and synchronized with office-based information.
The JumpStart application uses programmable phones and wireless PDAs, allowing the data to be stored on the device and transactions updated even in basements and other areas outside of coverage. Applications based on WAP and SMS have failed to meet customer needs because they were unable to operate when disconnected from the network.
JumpStart is an out-of-the-box wireless solution which requires no programming and no systems integration. The customer simply describes the current paper and desktop computer forms used for its business processes. From the forms description, all the hard wireless programming is handled automatically such as integration, security and encryption. JumpStart can rapidly deploy working applications based on descriptions provided by operational managers.
A variety of BusinessSuite features ensure reliability and prevent data loss in the face of interrupted communication, damaged devices, and loss of battery power during transactions. The BusinessSuite Server provides such reliability features by maintaining a server copy of all activity on each device and continuously monitoring and updating those devices for corrupted data or lost connections. JumpStart has done an enormous amount of work behind the scenes to ensure that there is never a loss of data for their customers.
